PREMIUM SERVICES
FOR ADDED PEACE OF MIND, CONSIDER THESE SELECT GENERATOR SERVICES
Power outages; we never know when they will occur, but when they do, most can last from just a few minutes or, as in the case of Superstorm Sandy, they can go on for several days. While basic protection through routine maintenance from your service contract is an important first step to ensuring generator functionality, taking a few extra precautions will go a long way in providing ultimate peace of mind that your generator will perform its best when suddenly called to action.
We offer a variety of premium services, including load bank testing, designed to enhance the performance and reliability of your emergency or standby generator system.
FUEL MANAGEMENT
Fuel issues are the number one reason for emergency call-outs. With hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in fuel inventory at stake, testing for fuel quality should be a #1 priority on your to-do list.
The P3 Fuel Management Plan provides a routine analysis of the diesel fuel within your generator’s storage tank by identifying and treating problems before they become major issues.

LOAD BANK TESTING
Is your 100kw generator really producing 100kw worth of power? Don’t risk problems with sensitive computer systems and life-sustaining equipment. Instead, test the efficiency of your generator in a controlled environment through an isolated load bank test performed by a qualified technician.
If you’re not working your generator hard enough, you need a load bank performed at least once per year. In fact, NFPA 110 requires it for generators that fail to reach 30% capacity during monthly tests.

REMOTE MONITORING
Is there a problem that would cause your generator not to start? How would you even know? A generator remote monitoring system can give you and your team peace of mind knowing your generator is operating properly – anytime, day or night.
P3 GenAware can help you know the condition of your generator 24/7 through real-time notification alerts of potential problems sent directly to your phone or email inbox.

OIL SAMPLE ANALYSIS
Routine lab testing of engine oil samples will provide insight into what is going on inside the engine, allowing preventative action long before a problem occurs and potentially saving thousands of dollars in repairs.
Our detailed reports offer a timeline that highlights changes in the molecular contaminants that may be a sign of trouble ahead. It’s like getting a warning of an accident ahead.

COOLANT FLUSH
Has it been more than 5 years since you last had the cooling system flushed? If it’s been that long or longer, there’s a risk of experiencing a radiator failure.
Replacing your engine’s coolant, or anti-freeze if you prefer, is a wise, cost-saving decision that can prevent an unexpected generator failure.
